Which plan you need for a booking website
Basic is the cheapest plan, but it is a channel manager and inbox without a website. To take bookings on a site of your own you need Starter or above:
- Starter adds the website, booking engine and payment gateway. The pricing page shows it for one or two properties.
- Professional adds automated guest messages, Google Vacation Rentals and dynamic pricing. For five properties it is the cheapest plan with a website the pricing page shows, at $164 a month.
- Ultimate adds owner statements, SMS and tasks.
Yearly billing takes about 20% off, and a two-year term about 25%. Lodgify states no setup fee and no long-term contract.
The 0% booking fee, and the transaction fee
Each plan card on Lodgify's pricing page says “0% booking fee”. Separately, Lodgify's help centre describes a Lodgify transaction fee (opens in a new tab) charged on every payment processed through a connected payment gateway, with the rate shown in your own account. Both can be true: there is no fee for receiving a booking, and there is one on the money that moves through Lodgify's payment connection. Ask for your rate before comparing totals.

The fairest comparison is the setup most independent hosts run: a direct booking website for every property, on the cheapest published plan that includes one.
